Consider whom your effort helps. Constantly feeling that you sacrifice for others easily brings grievance. Recognizing who receives the service may shift feelings.

Dao Sheng described difficult rainy courier work: keeping packages dry, removing raincoat and helmet inside buildings, and extra procedures amid heavy volume. Yet Taiwan then needed rain because of water shortage. Reflecting, he preferred rainfall and accepted wearing his raincoat.

I connected this with great vows and love. Willingly bearing some discomfort for wider benefit shifts attention beyond grievance. Recognizing why you choose the work sometimes changes stuck feelings. From cultivation, I also regard this giving as accumulating blessings.

His difficulties remain real. Pandemic volume reductions affected his per-item income. Understanding this shows his concern for others did not arise from easy work. Discussing perspective must still recognize the burden he carried.
