After preparing seriously, practice giving yourself confidence too. Repeated worry prevents steadiness and keeps every thought circling fear.

During the pandemic I used metro travel as an example: worrying whether nearby people disinfected or washed clothes and becoming tense at sneezes can lead to panic. The reminder was not to worry excessively after precautions and cooperation. Positive thoughts need correct action as their basis, not thought without doing anything.

Reassurance is not indifference. Moderate tension encourages attention and preparation. Balance the degree: be cautious where needed, while allowing trust in what you have already done instead of endless suspicion.

Dao Fan described a similar approach with his mother: fulfill your part, then entrust other matters to deities and heaven. Doing nothing and claiming protection is different. I emphasized necessary precautions alongside inner peace. Faith supports without omitting personal action.
