A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Miao Nian did not overcome early recurring lows through a single intervention. Sensitive to negative states with unsteady personal strength, her thoughts swung between positive and negative, and even riding the metro felt uncomfortable. Later, she recorded reminders from deities and me during pilgrimages and group practice, then reviewed whether she had changed and done what was needed.

She recited and meditated daily, moving from short mantras to more scriptures, and felt better able to face everyday tiredness. Hearing her account, Miao Yuan also tried early-morning practice and shared her feelings. These were their processes, not identical quotas everyone must adopt.

When negative thoughts are hard to handle immediately, first shift attention and calm down before considering the next step. Notes work similarly: writing alone is insufficient. Return to them and act, so you can see whether you have changed.
