Communication and Boundaries
Can aura-photograph colors directly reveal the soul or quality of cultivation?
English translation draft · Based on the Chinese article. This is not a word-for-word translation approved by Master Shengyuan.
Aura-photograph colors alone cannot judge a soul or cultivation. In my twenties, crystal-enthusiast friends told me about these cameras, and I took friends to try one. It seemed novel then. Discussing it later, I wanted to stress that my understanding concerns a camera displaying electrical-discharge conditions, not directly photographing a soul.
At a crystal shop, the owner compared photographs taken before and after holding crystals. I asked to try my ritual implement instead. Holding a small wooden Five Thunder Command tablet produced very full colors, surprising the owner and friends. However, I was also relaxing, breathing deeply, and meditating, so the change cannot be attributed solely to holding the implement.
I also discussed possible differences from sweaty hands, pressure applied, ambient temperature and humidity, and being tense or relaxed. Even if the picture seems somewhat related to one’s present state, that does not establish an accurate representation of the soul.
Listen carefully to interpretations too. Statements such as having your own ideas when things happen or feeling troubled when unhappy apply to many people. Sounding personally relevant does not mean each color accurately measures an individual condition, much less that the interpreter sees through your soul.
For questions about religious energy conditions, I personally prefer Chinese chess divination. That is my choice of tool and experiential judgment. I also compared costs then: six hundred for divination and over a thousand for aura photography and interpretation seen online. Those were prices and opinions at the time, not current quotations or proof of accuracy through price comparison.
If curious and with resources to spare, decide for yourself whether to try it and learn its principles. An unattractive photograph does not mean you are truly in terrible condition, while an attractive one does not guarantee lasting well-being. More important than chasing colors is returning to what you can adjust and bringing understanding and judgment to revived trends.
