A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Starting Spiritual Practice

Why was helping a client wearing winter clothing in midsummer about more than expulsion?

Listen

The client arrived in midsummer wearing thick cold-weather clothing and needing a friend's support. She felt an uncontrollable inner cold and had consulted elsewhere, hearing claims of several bad spirits on her. We explored her situation from an unseen-interference perspective and arranged a deliverance ceremony at her request.

Discussing it with Dao Xuan, I also mentioned her intention: while seeking help, she wanted these unseen beings to receive deliverance too. The aim therefore included helping them leave their condition, beyond merely driving them away. This was that client's experience. Understand the actual person and circumstances before applying a shared explanation to anyone cold or heavily dressed.
