A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Calling something a ghost does not mean all ghosts are bad. Some are good, and people can be worse than ghosts. Understand the circumstances and actual actions rather than judge solely by identity.

During one case, I perceived the story of a female spirit. Overcome by emotion, she had acted impulsively, leaving irreversible consequences. I felt its tragedy and compassion for her. Understanding her pain did not erase those consequences. This was the religious experience of that case, not a guarantee about all unseen beings.

Objects also require understanding. If something feels strange or uncomfortable, notice it and consider its appearance and origin, rather than suppress the feeling. Yet strange does not necessarily mean bad; your condition may be involved. Discomfort invites further understanding, rather than supplying a verdict on every object.
