A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. From my faith and service experience, remote connection is possible. Yet phrases such as gemstone light or glowing palms still require understanding of actual methods and mutual connection. A name does not make everyone capable, and one experience cannot guarantee healing an illness.

Dao Xuan tried a friend’s gemstone-light session. The friend hung up and asked about sensations a few minutes later. Dao Xuan mostly felt nothing special, apart from some cold for a time. The friend said another sensitive person felt very uncomfortable while others felt good. Different responses to the same experience require inquiry, not immediately blaming those who feel nothing or rejecting everything after one trial. Physical and mental condition also matter; judgment differs between clear awareness and drunkenness.

I once assisted a sensitive client by telephone, reporting first to deities, ringing a ritual bell, and requesting divine troops. The client reported hearing troops approach and ghosts scream and scatter. That was the client’s response, not something everyone hears. For me, a call or video makes connection easier to maintain. After hanging up, with little familiarity and only a photograph, conditions differ. The practitioner’s visualization and intention, steadiness, and the person’s willingness to receive all need consideration.

Dao Xuan also met a believer who extended a hand and asked whether light was visible or healing felt. Without a strong sensation, Dao Xuan suggested continued practice. My reminder is that vow power and ability need to work together; gestures and names alone do not complete it. I once asked a young friend casually calling an archangel what connection existed between them. My own primary devotion to Thousand-Armed Guanyin also follows cultivation’s understanding of deep affinity and vows. Animated portrayals cannot stand in for an actual established connection.

To help others, begin by caring for and training yourself, allowing your own state to settle, rather than rushing to charge for healing. Years of learning do not make every Sheng Zhen Men student capable of service; confirmation from teacher and deities is still needed. The recipient’s cooperation matters too. If someone clings to the original external spirit, we will not forcefully remove it to prove power and injure the soul. Helping requires willingness, ability, and cooperation, not unilateral enthusiasm alone.
