A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Saying Taiwan has all five elements means viewing this land through them: central mountains resemble earth, eastern forests suggest wood, developed western roads and railways metal, northern rain water and southern heat fire. This is my faith-based geographical understanding.

Beginning with news of a foreign girl visiting, we discussed Taiwan’s pandemic and daily conditions then and felt relative stability and tolerance toward different people and religions. These were observations at that time. Elemental comparison cannot guarantee permanent freedom from epidemics or disasters, or identical lives for everyone arriving.
