Do all temples handle universal-offering food identically?
English translation draft · Based on the Chinese article. This is not a word-for-word translation approved by Master Shengyuan.
Temples do not necessarily handle universal-offering food identically. Sheng Zhen Men requests divine purification of attached energy and then blessings for the food. That is a particular concern within our faith. A shared label cannot establish that every place has—or has not—performed the same work.
People have asked whether rice offered at other temples and donated to orphanages or elder-care homes might have an influence. I do not know each temple’s actual process and prefer to believe suitable blessings were given. Acknowledge what is unknown rather than cause worry through imagination. This describes religious handling, not purification as a measure of food safety or health. I still advise people with low fortunes, weak energy, or poor health not to eat universal offerings, even after purification.
