A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

When you see an unusual video or online post, pause before copying it merely because someone says it is cool. I do not recommend casually exploring ruins or playing spirit-board and automatic-writing games. In my faith, inviting is easier than sending away. Finishing a video does not mean everything afterward is finished.

Online reactions do not necessarily mean what they seem. In a story about an elder’s handmade food, a granddaughter assumed comments calling it cool and wanting to eat it showed approval. She published order information, but complaints followed and the elder decided to stop. Help intended well brought an unexpected outcome. Not every sharing goes wrong, but enthusiastic comments do not mean everyone agrees. Consider what may follow.
