Religious handling of harmful workings does not always end in one session. My saying that every working has a way to break it concerns understanding the believed method and its medium before responding. If the other party continues, we may need further work. Some situations have gone back and forth for a period.

Some teachers avoid involvement because it may create hostility with the other party. A practitioner in poor condition may also be affected. Recitation, ritual work, and assistance require time and energy, sometimes disciples’ help, rather than one effortless sentence.

Honestly, we do not enjoy such trouble either. Yet learning compassionate response from the Bodhisattva, we try to help genuine need brought to us. This expresses intention and service experience, not acceptance of every case or a guarantee of resolution in one session or fixed time.

Miao Nian said after joining several cases that the method differed each time. Different understood circumstances may call for different divine assistance. One client’s approach cannot become instructions for everyone.

Sometimes clarify whether a later difficulty is the same problem. We handle what appears then. Home conditions, the person’s stability, and deeper difficulties emerging later may need separate inquiry. Improvement this time does not mean all future problems disappear.

In my service experience, some inner conditions are not visible initially and become understandable through later practice and self-examination. This is gradual judgment, not proof that all recurring discomfort comes from harmful workings. Waiting for circumstances to mature does not establish that every cause is already understood.
