A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Clarify your present situation: what happened, what you want to understand, and the options you are considering. Specific questions permit discussion. With no direction or preparation, asking what guarantees success makes it difficult for divination to decide your whole life.

Questions should preferably concern you directly. Exploring interaction with a supervisor and prospects under them differs from knowing every private thought. Strangers and public figures are not automatically knowable on request. Decisions involving life and death or major responsibility especially cannot be made for someone through a diviner’s single sentence.

Some people need a listener and support to organize feelings, not only predictions. Teachers should understand first rather than offer unasked information that increases unease. Health worries also require appropriate medical care; religious views cannot replace diagnosis. Clear questions support facing life, not handing it all away.

Check whether the spoken question matches the inner concern. Someone asking if a job suits them may mean future development; asking about family fortunes may conceal worry about parental health. Time spent understanding the real difficulty avoids answering words without reaching the concern.

Before visiting, write what you most want to know without fearing you cannot ask properly. Consider interests and abilities and organize options already considered. This helps more than demanding a lifelong job guaranteed to bring money. Divination offers direction; choosing and acting remain your life.

Questions about people or matters need clear subjects too. I have used the example of asking about some person in America whom you do not even know, expecting a spirit communicator to know the intended person. That makes identifying the question difficult. Explain who and what rather than asking vaguely and awaiting omniscience.
