Divination and Guidance
How can divination advice about relationships become my own choices?

You can consult divination about love, but do not have to. When two people have just met and feel attracted, they may ask about affinity and possible lessons before becoming deeply involved. This is not a compulsory procedure before every relationship. After asking, both people still bear responsibility for how they relate.
Letting go is often painful when an unwelcome result comes after deep involvement. Dao Xuan encountered clients unwilling to accept that the other person did not share their feelings. They repeatedly prayed to the Matchmaker God and cast divination blocks, even asking whether donations or a shortened lifespan could obtain their wish. We discuss this to help people recognize attachment, not to suggest that paying a price can secure another person. After seeking a red thread, you still need to meet people, express feelings, and build a relationship.
Love and desire also need to be distinguished. Dao Xuan shared a case of a married woman entangled with a married man. Rationally she wanted to stop, but could not stop thinking of him. In the reading, Dao Xuan saw a bond of desire rather than a fitting partnership. When discussing religious purification, we first seek guidance about appropriate help. Third-party problems involving married or unmarried couples do not mean ritually cutting off anyone disliked, and cutting unwanted romantic ties is not a way to control who falls in love with you.
In my service experience, some spouses have affinities across lifetimes, and the depth of those affinities can affect how easily they get along. But a high compatibility score means understanding and communication may be easier; it does not guarantee that they will never separate or divorce. Deep affinity cannot replace effort if someone considers only personal needs and refuses the other's perspective. Desire, sincere care, and long-term commitment also differ. Proportions discussed in service reflect experience, not statistical predictions of each couple's future.
When I see a karmic-creditor relationship, I frankly explain that it may involve greater difficulty and giving. People already deeply in love who choose to continue can face that choice and ask the Bodhisattva for help in resolving difficulties. At an early stage, I may advise careful thought or distance. Yet the presence of karmic debt does not mean there is no good affinity at all; affinity and compatibility need consideration together. Some knowingly choose the harder path, and the teacher cannot decide for them.
I have also said that answering people already discussing marriage can be difficult because I do not want to dampen their happiness. At the same time, I require those providing service to explain honestly what they see, since withholding it can be bad for both people. Both reminders matter. Respecting a decision does not permit concealment. A friend once asked about a partner and later discovered involvement in fraud. That example encourages stepping back to examine a relationship; it does not guarantee that a reading removes all risk.
After asking, pay even more attention to actual interaction: willingness to take responsibility, communicate, and care for each other. If a result disappoints, reflect rather than keep asking until satisfied. The choice remains yours, and possible costs also need understanding. Consultation should clarify circumstances, not force someone to stay or make them too frightened to leave.
Practitioners discussing rituals for cutting unwanted romantic ties also mentioned single people troubled by unwanted pursuit. Clarify the relationship and distress before considering help. Disliking someone does not automatically make the connection harmful karma. Dao Xuan's images of red threads and pink hearts are her individual perceptions, not grounds for declaring a particular person someone's destined partner.
Some people want to know a partner's appearance and age, even the exact month, day, time, and place they will appear. But finding a partner still requires getting to know and discovering people yourself. Divination may discuss affinity and suitability; it cannot communicate and live out a relationship for two people.
It is also worth examining how well you currently know each other. Some clients told me that deeper acquaintance revealed different values, perspectives, and desired ways of living, eventually leading to separation. Initial attraction does not mean knowing the whole person. Divination provides a reference, while understanding through actual interaction still develops step by step.
Dao Xuan also shared a client whose partner strictly monitored her whereabouts. Religious resolution and blessing rites were performed, and she did not end the relationship afterward. From what Dao Xuan understood, the partner seemed more restrained. I reminded listeners that addressing past attachment still leaves this life's established relationship to face. That case cannot become a reason everyone should stay. I explicitly oppose accepting harm simply because of belief in a past-life bond. Actual changes in the relationship still need to be observed.
A reading can also remind you to examine whether personality and ways of relating have changed. Continuing the same thinking and repeated exchanges may lead to familiar problems again. Adjusting how you think and act is part of caring for the relationship in front of you. The outcome cannot simply be handed to the phrase 'destined to be.'
