A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. Does tarot’s “possession reading method” mean actual spirit possession?

In my tarot teaching, this phrase does not mean allowing something to possess you. It means entering the card character’s role and trying to understand the scene from that position.

Imagine being that person: what are you holding, doing, and looking toward, and what might you think? This moves beyond memorizing a title from outside and shifts perspective to understand the character’s circumstances.

Films where people become animals and begin understanding them also reminded me of this method. The focus is perspective-taking, not using films as actual possession instructions or claiming imagination reveals someone’s entire inner life.
