This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. I do not understand Sheng Zhen Men’s ritual as moving your future money into the present. That idea assumes lifetime wealth is fixed. Yet people learn, work and make different choices, so later development can differ.

I explain the ritual through energy. One aspect asks deities to purify interference; another seeks support for improving our condition. It is not a deity handing over cash, nor does paying the same fee give everyone the same amount. Your work, abilities and subsequent actions still matter.

Participation also involves belief and contribution. Someone unable to attend may still register and arrange participation, which is action too. But payment does not hand all future effort to deities. Wanting better life needs to enter your ordinary attitude toward work and action.

I separately discussed an ancestral case involving exchanging descendants’ blessings for immediate benefits. That differs from the idea of moving one’s own future fortune forward and should not be confused with it. Nor is a ceremony mandatory. Correcting yourself and caring for body and mind are also paths. This is my faith understanding, not a promise of a particular increase in income after participation.
