A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Not necessarily. You may not yet have clarified it fully, or may know inwardly without familiarity expressing it. Eloquence alone cannot determine understanding or cultivation.

Inviting students to record also offers practice. Future teachers helping others need to convey meaning understandably, beyond personal feelings. Speaking can reveal remaining uncertainties to study again.

Expression needs experience too. If words fail once, try again and gradually organise thoughts. Many recorded episodes developed my ability through repeated sharing. The expectation is willingness to learn and practise, not perfect first performance.
