Starting Spiritual Practice
If many people use someone’s photograph for blessings, might the pictured person also benefit?

From my perspective on intention and energy, that is possible. Dao Shun asked whether many people placing wishes for wealth, auspiciousness, and luck on the same person’s photograph might also help that individual. I answered that it could.
The photograph becomes a focus for people’s intentions. Seeing it with blessings, gratitude, or favorable impressions, I believe that energy can be shared with the person too. We also discussed understanding recitation and prayer directed at someone’s photograph this way.
However, a photograph’s popularity involves other conditions, such as promotion or a topic attracting attention then. Copying the same kind of wallpaper does not necessarily bring as many downloads and users. I discussed intention and connection, not encouraging a collective rush after one image.
