How did Dao Xuan begin learning spiritual communication with pets?

Dao Xuan began this learning by seeking guidance from the Great Sage and practicing according to the reminders he received. At the time, we were considering divination for pets and wanted genuinely to help people in need, so we prepared very carefully.

He shared that after invoking the Great Sage on that occasion, he felt the deity might be willing to teach him about pets’ thoughts and energy states, so he sought further guidance. The instruction was to meditate for seven consecutive days and see what happened afterwards. He followed it.

On the seventh night, he dreamed that he was rushing to a class. He entered a classroom resembling a university lecture room, where the teacher was discussing animals. He felt like a student joining midway who had missed the earlier lessons. Fortunately, classmates were willing to help and lend him notes. After waking, however, he could not clearly remember what he had learned. He told me about the dream the next day.

I understood it at the time from the perspective of the soul learning and told him that even if he did not remember, his soul might already have learned. Later, when questions about pets arose, Dao Xuan sought the Great Sage’s help and used divination and spiritual sensing to understand them. This is his personal religious experience. Those seven days were the guidance he received then, not a method that will necessarily open pet communication for everyone who follows it.
