A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Look at what matters most, what you cannot get past, or what you most want to escape. These may contain lessons for this life. There is no need to rush first toward a special divine-office identity.

Some continually desire stable relationships but face difficulties; others struggle financially throughout life. From practice, lessons may lie in those areas. First identify where you are stuck, then consider corrections and better ways of acting.

Lessons also appear in daily relations: treating family, friends, and partners; loving, sharing, accepting, and letting go. Life missions and lessons do not belong only to people with spiritual perceptions or unseen-world contact.

What you deeply love doing may reveal direction, while what you most wish to flee may require facing. Start understanding yourself through these clues. Your eventual direction still involves choice and genuine willingness to move toward it.
