A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Why do I keep recording even when the programme has not attracted much attention?

Because what the programme shares is meaningful. If someone hears it and gains a little strength or understands some principles of practice, I feel the effort is worthwhile even if the audience is small. Recognition falling short of my expectations does not remove the meaning of my original wish to share.

At that time we had recorded more than three hundred episodes, and the programme was indeed less well known than I had originally imagined. Sometimes, working late and feeling exhausted, I briefly thought of resting that day. But then I remembered why I began: to share learning and understanding from practice so that people who needed it could hear. Remembering this showed me why I was still willing to continue.

Recording also preserves something of Sheng Zhen Men’s journey. Later people may hear and see through audio and video what we thought and learned at the time. I regard this as passing on information and education. Some people hear a programme only much later rather than on its release day. As long as it helps them, the sharing remains meaningful.

So I care more about whether I earnestly do a good job with the material I want to share. Many listeners do not usually leave comments. Only when we meet later do they tell us that they have been listening and learning. Hearing that feedback makes me happy, because I know the work has indeed given some people strength.

Later, Chinese-speaking friends in the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan also learned about Sheng Zhen Men through the programme and asked about video divination or participated in our services. Those services have fees and did bring income. But when I began recording, I had not calculated how much money each episode should return. I was happily sharing the principles I had learned. Only after doing it for a while did we gradually see people coming to know us through this content.
