A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Work and Money

If I have arranged to resume work in a few months, should I simply wait for that date?

You can look forward to that arrangement, but do not base all your plans on a single date. I would suggest considering several other possibilities as well, because external circumstances may still change.

At the time, a fellow practitioner who did nail work, which required contact with clients, had arranged to collaborate with a new studio a few months later. It was an opportunity she looked forward to, and I did not dismiss it. However, when the agreed date arrived, the situation might not develop as originally expected, so she still needed to prepare more broadly.

Alongside your immediate plan, consider what else you can do and what additional skills you could develop. When providing divination for clients and discussing possible directions, we offer this reminder too. The point is not to avoid planning, but to leave room for adjustments so that you have more than one path available.
