A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Leave it open and continue observing. Do not force immediate belief or immediately conclude there is no connection. Little feeling toward a named patron or the abilities represented might mean the judgment is unsuitable, or your spirituality has not reached that stage.

In our understanding, a spiritual patron has a deep soul connection. We explore the relationship through feelings, strengths, and learning together. These are directional clues, not grounds to identify anyone’s patron from one skill. Hearing a name does not necessarily bring true understanding.

Continue practice and gradually understand interactions with deities and Buddhas. Personal experience makes the relationship clearer. Our identification arrangements value this timing, rather than acquiring a name and acting as though everything is known.
