A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Life takes place beyond rooms too. Stairs, elevators, and entrances used daily are part of your surroundings. From the energy perspective I discuss, attractive interior decoration cannot justify ignoring places you must pass through.

During an entry rite at a client's home, we discussed outside and stairway energy. Even a beautifully arranged interior may be affected when residents come and go. It is like a home smelling pleasant with fragrance while you must walk through dirt every day before entering. The discomfort does not disappear simply because the inside smells good.

So we consider both living space and daily access routes. This explains inner and outer surroundings within faith. It does not judge an entire building's fortune from one staircase or guarantee everything goes safely after renovation.
