A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Immediate debate is not always necessary. I have strongly wanted to express a different view yet chosen not to speak for the time being. Besides your own thoughts, consider whether that setting allows proper discussion.

At an online conversation, I heard accounts of spiritual communication that differed from my understanding and wanted to explain. But someone else hosted the space. Deeper explanations prompted the host to say listeners could not understand, while simpler ones felt insubstantial to me. Eventually I realized that interaction format did not suit us well.

I also saw rooms become mutual accusation through disagreement and argument, with an increasingly negative atmosphere, so we stopped investing energy there. Different understanding is one matter; how and where to speak require judgment too. Wanting only to get your words out can leave a conversation with nothing but attacks.
