A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Begin with one question: how would a Bodhisattva handle and express this, or how would Jiutian Xuannü see it? I teach students this to move beyond habitual outlook and learn divine perspective.

This requires knowing a deity beyond name: values, teachings, and vows. Dao Jing enjoys divine lessons because understanding their spirit first makes connection through sacred names and invocations easier.

I encouraged Miao Nian, who worships a Bodhisattva at home, to learn great compassion for connection. She later asked how the Bodhisattva would act. The exercise returns to the personal heart and compassionate response.

Closeness includes learning virtue. Greater consideration and care, deeper reflection on problems, and bringing understood principles into thoughts and action form practice in resonance.
