A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Environment and safety come first. Video availability does not justify directly transferring an in-person movement class home. Spirit-induced movement needs safe space, and some people may encounter difficulties practicing at home. These issues require prior consideration and resolution.

Qian Qian’s experience of online dance classes prompted discussion of shared movement and quieting the mind through video. I reminded everyone that movement involved safety questions, and seeing each other did not remove conditions in each participant’s environment.

We discussed trying relaxation and shared stillness, shamanic drums, handpans, or connecting with Dao Jing. These were ideas for adapting activities, not arrangements already implemented, and not permission to copy every practice at home through one method.
