I began through observation and trials that gradually developed interest. Early work centered on chess divination, including reflection on written structure and meaning. Encountering character analysis later, I felt aspects of both could support one another.

A spirit-communicating friend asked people to draw or write and interpreted the results. I found this interesting and noticed that questions could be explored through images and words as well as chess.

Outside once without chess pieces, I asked a friend seeking help to write or draw and interpreted through immediate inspiration. The explanation seemed reasonable, so I gradually used it in similar situations.

I later read several books, absorbing understandable material and developing ideas. Spiritual speech and writing in divine service also seemed to train feelings differently. This was gradual learning, not knowing every method from the beginning.
