Not necessarily. Children’s reading methods may differ from our childhood. I kept many comics for my son and daughter to enjoy what their father liked, then found they had not picked them up.

I initially felt disappointed because these books carried childhood memories. Yet many children now read comics on phones or online. We lacked phones and computers and had fewer entertainment choices, naturally spending more time with printed books.

I later recognized changing times. Ignoring my collection does not establish dislike of reading. Learn current methods and preferences to understand the difference.
