A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Do not assume all dreamcatchers are bad. Some feel comfortable and appealing to me, while others do not. Distinguish the object's appearance, present state, and your experience of contact.

In my religious understanding, dreamcatchers catch unwanted intentions and negative energy. Spiderwebs and air-purifier filters offer comparisons: intercepted things remain and need attention. Hanging one does not mean it needs no future care.

I have therefore discussed occasional purification or replacement as appropriate. A protective object's power is not limitless. Observe its condition over time. Before handling it, understand what you actually have rather than apply one procedure to everything with that name.

I recall a tree design with trunk, branches, and bead leaves that felt comfortable enough to want to buy. That was my feeling, not a rule that everyone must choose trees or that all other designs are bad. If something feels uncomfortable while choosing, acceptance need not be forced.
