A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Enjoyment and skill differ. Someone may love singing yet sing out of tune, while another has good pitch from childhood and learns readily. By talent I mean this innate ease of learning, not present interest alone.

From a soul perspective, I understand naturally strong abilities in this life as possible continuations of things learned and practiced before. Singing, dancing, and cooking illustrate this. That is my view of talent when discussing past and present lives.

Some at Sheng Zhen Men find inspiration in Chinese chess divination, character interpretation, tarot, or image cards. Still, each tool has its meanings and definitions. Understanding it lets you know how to use it and which perspectives it offers. Interest is different from already understanding this content.

Discussing whether to enter politics also reminded me that a suitable role matters. Doing what you are good at lets abilities unfold, brings happiness, and helps more people. A position appearing more influential may not suit you better. Whether present character or occupation continues earlier experience is a possibility I discuss through energy's continuation, not confirmation that I know someone's past life.
