A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Do continuing perceptions mean earlier help with unseen influences failed?

Continuing perceptions do not necessarily mean earlier work failed. In my religious understanding, some spiritual channels remain open, so sensitivity may persist after external-spirit problems are addressed.

I knew friends who became particularly sensitive to ghosts following adverse situations. Some practiced seriously, gradually changing their understanding and range of perceptions. My analogy of outside impact opening channels means later sensitivity need not depend on the original external spirit.

Conditions differ. Abilities are not guaranteed to remain unchanged, and a new image or feeling cannot immediately establish its nature. Innate sensitivity, post-accident changes, openings through practice, and unseen relationships need inquiry. One person’s story cannot fit everyone.

Perception does not equal wise judgment or competence to help. First care for condition, character, and understanding, including whether connection concerns the original spirit or other unseen feelings. This matters more than preserving an ability urgently. Original difficulties also cannot be neglected.

Sometimes surroundings need further inquiry. YOYO described several remote purifications for a child overseas, sensing different conditions each time. She then requested my divination concerning home, land, and objects, leading to discussion of home purification. This was gradual religious exploration, not repeating one action whenever a feeling appears or blaming land for every child’s unease.
