A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Fourteen matched our fourteen distinct chess pieces and corresponding disciple rules, making that anniversary particularly meaningful. This reflected Sheng Zhen Men’s stage then, not a universal transformation after fourteen years.

Our website called these principles Fu Mo teachings, intended to support self-correction and understanding of life’s cultivation. The anniversary also prompted asking whether they had truly been learned, beyond time passing.

I viewed fourteen years as one stage ending and another beginning. A larger celebration invited participation in our growth. What mattered to take away was learning direction and willingness to continue, not completion of cultivation through a commemorative number.
