Stories of Sheng Zhen Men
Why did I change how I channel after earlier receiving the Mother Goddess?

I wanted clearer understanding of what people were contacting and appropriate interpersonal boundaries, not to reject the Mother Goddess’s energy. I received her early on, then leaned more toward presenting yang deities’ energy. Her messages can still be sensed, understood, and relayed.
A friend felt maternal energy, wanted closeness and to call me Mother, yet felt conflict because the teacher before them was male. Hearing this prompted reflection. If participants do not understand their feelings during cultivation, attention to touch or emotion may create misunderstandings.
I therefore adjusted how service was presented and reminded people about appropriate distance between men and women. This choice addressed the situation then, without declaring the friend’s feelings wrong.
Inner yin-yang qualities need not match physical sex completely. I have seen male elders with Mother Goddess channeling responsibilities. My adjustment cannot determine others’ whole affinities. Know what you are doing and bring clarity to faith expression and relationships.
I remember a female client saying I resembled her mother and crying, leaving her boyfriend beside her and me somewhat awkward. Through my own Mother Goddess practice, I understood that she might feel that connection. I did not see her afterward, and my ideas about her boyfriend’s feelings were only guesses. Such events increased my attention to explaining divine energy, visible human identity, and everyday boundaries.
