A note before reading

This library is based on Master Shengyuan’s personal experiences and reflections on spiritual practice. They may not apply to everyone’s circumstances. It is important to distinguish everyday life from spiritual practice, and science from metaphysical beliefs. Use your own judgment and read with care. If you have questions, you are welcome to discuss them.

Before asking again, examine why. Tracking changes or confirming circumstances differs from refusing an answer and insisting on readings until satisfied. Rephrasing alone should not be expected to change the result you do not want to accept.

For example, someone may dislike a reading about romantic affinity with another person and want another a week later. If the original question concerned their bond in this lifetime, rather than this week's or three months' romantic fortune, a few days do not make it expired. Understand the original scope. Questions do not all have the same timeframe.

Dao Xuan encountered a client insisting on a new phrasing and another draw. The conclusion and intermediate pieces were the same, only reordered. I too have met insistent clients receiving similar results. Usually I first advise against more expense, though some clients did insist and receive another reading then. Paying again does not obtain a preferred answer.

Conversely, online consultations sometimes reveal matters requiring an in-person reading for confirmation. When searching for a missing nursing kitten, people searched physically while repeatedly asking whether it remained nearby and in which direction. That tracked changes at the time rather than repeatedly reopening because the answer was disliked.

I understand divination as considering future development from current conditions. Events not yet occurred may change through effort and adjustment. After receiving a reminder, return to what you can do. Repeated readings cannot replace needed action.

Do not keep spending simply to prove which answer is accurate. A financially constrained client asked elsewhere at greater expense, then returned saying both agreed and praising my ability. I instead wondered why energy was not directed to improving life once a useful direction was known. Before asking again, distinguish what remains unclear from wanting another affirmation.
