Privacy and Membership Notice
The site uses WordPress accounts and native authentication cookies. Account information includes a name and email address. Likes, saved articles, and daily reminder records are stored for each member. Saved-article lists and daily reminders are available to that member.
After moderation, comments may publicly show the commenter’s display name and content. WordPress also stores the IP address and browser identification information associated with native comments.
The site’s cumulative reading statistics count views. Cumulative visitor numbers use a one-year anonymous cookie and a hash of the browser identifier to remove duplicates. The statistics do not store names, email addresses, or IP addresses. Visitor numbers represent browsers; the same person may be counted again after switching devices or clearing cookies. Search terms of no more than 60 characters that contain no numbers, email addresses, or URLs are anonymously aggregated by their original wording. Popular search terms may be displayed on the home page. Search statistics do not store an IP address or member identifier. Please do not enter personal information in the search box. Servers and infrastructure may keep separate records; their scope still needs to be confirmed.
The site loads Google Fonts and links to external services such as LINE. Those services determine how they handle data when you use them. Please contact Master Shengyuan through the Contact page with questions about member information or content.
Google sign-in
When you sign in with Google, this site receives the basic profile information (such as your name and profile picture), email address, and social account identifier you agree to share. These are used to create or sign in to a member account, display member information, and link an existing account. This site does not request permission to read Gmail messages. General members cannot manage website articles, other members, or website settings.
If you already have an account here, sign in with that account first, then link Google from the profile page in the Member Center. We do not automatically merge accounts based only on a matching name or email address. You can revoke access in your Google app settings. Revoking access does not automatically delete member data already stored on this site.
Request deletion of member data
To request deletion of your member account and related data, use the official LINE link on the Contact page. Provide your member username or email address so the website administrator can verify account ownership. Do not send your password. The administrator handles the member account, linked social accounts, profile picture, liked articles, saved articles, and related data. Please also identify any comments or questions you want included in the request. If information must be retained by law or remains in a backup until that backup expires, this will be explained to you.
