From an ordinary young man with no inborn mediumistic ability to someone who uses Chinese chess divination, spiritual practice, and teaching to help others understand life. He learned along this path through his own experiences.
A path of spiritual practice that began during military service
Like many people, Master Shengyuan was not born with mediumistic ability. An encounter during military service at age twenty led him into spiritual cultivation and movement. He later studied I Ching divination and name analysis with teachers, studied Tarot on his own, and encountered Buddhism, Taoism, and Vajrayana Buddhism.
Through these different studies and experiences, he eventually found his path in Chinese chess divination. His original website describes an experience at Xianshan, where he went to meet Jiutian Xuannü and felt a “bullet of spiritual energy” pass through his energy channels.
Answering questions, teaching, and bringing practice into daily life
“Nothing in this world is a coincidence; everything happens through causes and conditions.” Master Shengyuan often says this. Having gone from no spiritual sensitivity to helping others through his own experience, he hopes his learning journey can give more people confidence in their spiritual practice.
In the faith and teaching of Sheng Zhen Men, Master Shengyuan takes responsibility for answering questions, teaching, and passing on the path. He guides people to face their inner struggles and ease their troubles, starting with the heart and applying understanding in daily life.
